Sarah Barlow is a blues singer, musician and songwriter in Austin, Texas.

Currently she performs around Austin in her band Sarah Barlow and The Heat, also a blues duo with Mike Keller and as a solo performer. Her vision for her next album in underway with new song writing in the style of blues, r&b, and soul. Sarah Barlow has performed in Austin with blues guitarist Mike Keller, The Little Elmore Reed Band, The Peacemakers, many other bands in the past and learned a lot first hand visiting and performing with legends such as Pinetop Perkins and Miss Lavelle White over the years at Antone’s.

Sarah plans to release material on this subscription for her original compositions in both blues and country, as well as her cover versions of classic songs that inspire her performance and voice.

Clifford Antone managed and mentored Sarah’s early blues singing debut and career at Antone’s from 2005-2006. She performed with legends Pinetop Perkins and Derek O’Brien and with the Blue Monday House Band. Plans with Clifford and Derek to record her first debut blues album on the Antone’s label faded as Clifford passed weeks before in 2006.

After nearly 17 years of starting her blues career, Sarah is back and ready to bring you her best performances yet in her hometown. The recordings she is planning to make and release over the next few years will feature the best in Austin blues musicians. Fans will get access to hear newly released material, exclusive backstage clips and practice video footage, songwriting process insight, and first listen samples of demos and recordings as the blues album comes together.
